NORTHBROOK, IL,., April 8, 2002, - Woodhead Connectivity, the global leader in industrial communications and connectivity, today introduced the Brad Harrison Push-on Micro-Change connector family, designed to ease time and labor stress associated with threaded coupling connectors.

The IP-65 rated push-on design allows twist-free coupling of control components and their connectors, freeing valuable time and effort when assembling or maintaining a machine or system, especially those commonly found in environmentally mild automation applications. "We recognized that there is a need out there for this style of connector. Not every automation application requires submersible connectors," said John Sullivan, Woodhead Connectivity Material Handling Marketing Director. "Another tangible bonus is that this design is incredibly labor-friendly," he added.

The new Push-on family mates with any 12mm proximity switch or other 12mm control component by lining up the keyways and pushing the two devices together, thereby saving the installer from having to work their fingers into tight areas to "turn down" the coupling nut. A further benefit gained from the elimination of the coupling nut is that the problem of "back-off" is virtually eliminated. The design provides excellent vibration resistance.
